Carmen Williams-Sims

Paralegal

 

 

Carmen Williams-Sims was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. She graduated from the Alabama School of Fine Arts in 2018 and continued her education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. During her junior year of college, she completed her Paralegal certification at Auburn University in 2021. 

As a Paralegal, Carmen assists attorneys and clients throughout the estate planning and probate process, including preparing wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents. She supports case management, coordinates client communications, and helps guide families through probate matters by organizing documentation and assisting with filings and estate administration tasks. Carmen works to ensure that each client’s estate plan and probate matter is handled with accuracy, organization, and attention to the family’s long-term goals.    

In addition to her work as a paralegal, Carmen is currently pursuing a Juris Doctor degree at the Birmingham School of Law, where she is committed to building a strong foundation of legal knowledge and professional skills.

Outside of the office, Carmen enjoys journaling, attending Pilates classes, playing chess, and spending time with her family as a wife and mother. A fun fact about Carmen is that she is a classically trained pianist.
